General Information

The Harlingen Public Library holds Adult Programming Classes (A.P.C. for short) monthly throughout the year. Classes are FREE to the public and are sponsored by the Friends of the Harlingen Public Library.

Supplies may be required for some specialized classes. For those classes a list of supplies will be provided upon sign-up; we’ll let you know.

Classes that are available throughout the year include:

  • Arts & Crafts (various)
  • Knitting
  • Computer Basics
  • Microsoft Office Basics (monthly rotation per availability)
  • Health Care Workshops

Most adult programming classes require you to sign-up at the Reference Desk. If you are not sure your class requires sign-up, please ask us. The Microsoft Office Basics & Computer Basics classes always require sign-up due to limited seating. Classes are restricted to Adults ages 18 and over unless otherwise stated.

For more information or for class suggestions please contact the APC Coordinator, Eva Bielicke, at (956) 216-5823.
