E-books and audiobooks are available to library card holders to download for a period of time with Overdrive. The Harlingen Public Library is part of the South Texas Library Consortium and offers card holders access to e-books from over 20 libraries.
Overdrive offers free downloadable software for your computer or personal media devices. Select e-book and audiobook titles are available to read and listen to directly from a web browser.

Libby is Overdrive’s newest app! Many of our members find it to be a much faster and easier alternative to the normal Overdrive app. It can use the South Texas Library Consortium just like Overdrive, so you can access all the same e-books and audiobooks.
